Kalle, a 10 year old boy lives in a colourful world full of magic, fairytale and songs. One day Kalle gets a sister and she arrives into the world with two skin flaps on her back that Kalle is convinced are wings. No one but Kalle sees the true nature of his sister's odd appendages and soon his sister is off to the renowned Plastic Palace clinic of cosmetic surgery to have them removed. Determined to prevent the amputation of his sister's wings, Kalle sets out on a rescue mission in a race against time.

Directors Biography
Michael Wikke, born 1959, Denmark and Steen Rasmussen, born 1949, Denmark too. They formed their own company, Græsted Film, in 1982. They have written, directed, produced and often played leading roles in mutual films. Their feature film debut, ‘Russian Pizza Blues’ (1992), won the first prize at Göteborg and Mannheim; ‘Flying Granny’ (2001) won the Children's Jury Award at Lübeck.
